January marked the beginning of the remarkable new year of 2024, a very crucial month as it opened a new chapter of success for our program and paved the way towards achieving our goal to work along with the people of Borlorla town to have a Modern School Building erected for the children in Borlorla and its environs.
On January 5th, we inspected the allocated site for the School Building. We learned that the town had started its school-building project in late 2018, however, it was halted due to the outbreak of COVID-19. They got to work throughout January to clear the overgrowth at the land allocated for the school.
We honor and celebrate the amazing mothers who have touched our lives with their love, kindness, and hard work—the women who have always been there for us through thick and thin. Mothers of Borlorla Town worked side-by-side with the fathers in helping to establish a school for the first time in Borlorla Town, Bong County.
